In addition to offering you a unique and unforgettable animal-friendly experience, we are located in a city brimming with the history and treasures of ancient Egypt.
Luxor is one of Egypt's most popular tourist destinations. It is home to numerous temples and tombs of gods, pharaohs and queens who have left their mark on Egyptian history.
Separated by the Nile, Luxor has two coasts. According to Egyptian beliefs, the Nile separated the two worlds: that of the living and that of the beyond. On the eastern bank, where the sun rises, cities and temples were built. On the west bank, where the sun sets, tombs and burial grounds were built.
Temples
There are two kinds of temple. Divine temples, dedicated to a god of Egyptian mythology, and funerary temples, dedicated to the worship of the pharaoh during his lifetime and after his death.
- Karnak Temple
The Temple of Karnak is Egypt's greatest place of worship. It is dedicated to the god Amun-Re, one of the forms of the solar god. Then there are two other sacred enclosures for his wife Moût, the mother goddess, and their son Khonsu, the moon god.

- Luxor Temple
Once linked to Karnak temple by the 3km-long Alley of the Sphynxes. It was built by two New Kingdom pharaohs, Amenophis III and Ramses II. It is dedicated to the same deities as Karnak temple.

- Temple of Hatshepsut
This funerary temple is one of the most impressive because of its highly original architecture. It's also very well known because Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh in Ancient Egypt, designed it for herself. When it was discovered, it was in ruins because of her brother Thutmose III, jealous that his sister had acceded to the throne before him.
Don't forget to stop at the 3rd footbridge for a magnificent view of the Nile.

- The Valley of the Kings
Home to 63 tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs. Among them are the tombs of Ramses VI, one of the most beautiful, Tutankhamun, Seti I and many others.

- The Valley of the Queens
Home to 75 royal tombs of queens, princesses and princes. One of the most impressive is that of Nefertari, one of the 5 wives of Ramses II.

- The Colossi of Memnon
The Colossi of Memnon are two gigantic statues of Amenophis III, located at the entrance to his funerary temple. Built 3,400 years ago, the statues show the pharaoh looking at the rising sun. The lower part of the temple features a sculpture of his mother (Queen Mutemwiya) and his wife (Queen Tiy).

If you're a student and have the means to prove it, there are often discounts on entrance tickets.
In addition to this open-air museum, there are many other activities not to be missed !
Cruise the Nile in a felucca, a typical small boat, for an evening or more.

Take a hot-air balloon ride at sunrise to admire Egypt's magnificent landscapes from above, including the Valley of the Kings.

Of course we can answer your questions and help you organize your visits during your stay.
